What we do - for the home or for work
Art Reproduction
Our professional wide format scanning and printing service is ideal for photographers and artists as we can print on a wide range of media and will create an exact replication of your art work. Not only will you have a digital backup, you will be able to offer limited edition prints of your master piece, which only increase the value of your work.
As we scan and print on site, we are able to create any size print from any size piece. If you are not totally convinced your art would get the justice it deserves, we are happy to produce a test print prior to payment, as we guarantee our work is nothing but excellent! We treat each image as if it were the only image. We prepare and inspect each image for print individually. No two pieces are ever the same so they shouldn’t be treated the same when it comes to reproducing. To get the very best printed reproduction you need a “digital darkroom” to fine tune each image so that
sunsets look more vibrant, skin tones more natural and colours more realistic thats where we make a difference.
We are the proud owners of a custom-built large format scanning bed. This allows us to scan artwork up to 1.5mx2m in size at a resolution of up to 2400dpi. We utilise the X-Rite i1 Colour Management system throughout the workflow to achieve a high level of colour accuracy from start to finish.
The scanner is calibrated daily with a reference target; the cameras are shown photographic targets in every new lighting environment; the monitors are checked at intervals with a calibration device. We have all the calibration equipment in-house, so we can manage our colour quickly, but we outsource the profiling of our printers so the quality of our final output is independently verified.
We favour the Hahnemühle brand of paper. It has proven itself to perform consistently and predictably. Custom ICC profiles made for all our printershelp maintain uniform results from 6×4″ up to A0 size.
Banners, Boards & Flags
A-BOARDS, BANNERS & FLAGS
We provide a wide range of eye-catching additions to encourage customers . Wooden A-boards or pavement signs can be personalised for your business with vinyl graphics or posters. Full colour printed banners, hemmed and eyeleted to any size. Single or double sided printed flags with or without bases and pull-up banners are all fully designed and produced in-house.
SITE BOARDS & AGENT BOARDS
Standard sized 813mm x 610mm Correx site boards to bespoke sizes, we can produce any design from cut vinyl to full printed boards to advertise your presence.
Canvas Production
We don’t just push print on your photo to create a canvas, we take special care in preparing your image. We will enhance your images, crop to the right ratio without cropping off heads etc. Colour correct, and even manipulate your image to suit your requirements.

Photo Luster
Hahnemühle Photo Luster 260gsm is a classic photo paper with a resin-coated substrate material and a microporous coating specifically designed for photo applications. This bright white photo inkjet paper has a smooth surface with a lustre finish. It offers excellent print quality, making it ideal for photos, poster prints, and photo books. It is well-suited for daily use and has been the main paper stock at The Studio for a long time. It boasts 100% sharpness and color gamut, along with good fingerprint resistance. Prices are as follows: £7 for A4 size, £1.90 per linear inch for 12/17″ width, and £2.40 per linear inch for 24″ width.
Satin 240
has a beautifully subtle satin surface, partnered with a bright white base suited to all genres of photography, from family portraits to holiday snapshots. Prints are sharp and vibrant and have a high-quality look and feel. This resin coated paper is finished with an instant dry, UV protective microporous supercoat for a high degree of water and fade resistance.
Price: £1.20 per linear inch for 12″ width
FineArt Baryta
Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta 325gsm is a bright white, cellulose-based FineArt paper with a coating specially tailored for FineArt use. The clearly visible, exquisite felt structure lends the paper its lovely soft feel and tactile surface texture to produce prints with a stunning three-dimensional quality and depth. The premium coating guarantees outstanding print results with perfect reproduction of colour and detail, deep blacks and striking contrasts. The barium sulphate within the coating gives FineArt Baryta the feel of a traditional analogue baryta paper. The acid and lignin-free FineArt inkjet paper meets the most exacting requirements for age resistance. FineArt Baryta is a versatile classic for FineArt applications and sets standards in the printing of both black and white and colour photographs. The cost is £2.40 per linear inch on a 17″ roll.
Photo Pearl
Hahnemühle Photo Pearl 310gsm is a classic photo paper. The resin-coated substrate material has a microporous coating which is specifically designed for photo application. The bright white paper has a smooth surface, with a pearl finish. It excels with its superb print quality, ensuring the best results.

Titanium Gloss
Titanium Gloss 300gsm is a high-gloss paper with a unique metallic base. It has a silvery undertone that gives life to images where subjects contain metal, water, and reflective surfaces, making them sparkle under the light. This award-winning digital photo paper is the ideal creative choice to make your work stand out and have high impact. The gloss surface is not overpowering, instead adding a luxurious finish, whilst colours almost glow thanks to the light reflective base. Titanium Gloss 300 prints with incredible detail and clarity and works extremely well with images that have vibrant colours, deep blacks, and white/silver areas that allow the metallic base to show through.

German Etching®
Hahnemühle German Etching 310gsm is a traditional mould-made copperplate printing paper, complete with an inkjet coating designed especially for fine art applications. The white art paper, made from 100% alpha-cellulose, is characterised by its extraordinary velvety tactile feel and its fine, clearly defined felt structure. The unique surface texture adds a special touch to images, showcasing them in all their splendour with impressive three-dimensional effects and depth. The premium matt inkjet coating guarantees outstanding print results with excellent reproduction of color and detail, deep black, and optimum contrasts. German Etching is acid- and lignin-free and meets the most exacting requirements in terms of age resistance. This heavyweight fine art inkjet paper is one of the most popular papers for fine art prints and art reproductions thanks to its characteristic tactile feel and surface texture. Museum Heritage
Museum Heritage 310gsm is a fine art paper with a textured surface and mid-white base. It prints with outstanding detail and clarity, enhanced by the rough textured weave that is highly suited to fine art photography, rustic scenes, and detailed portraits. This cotton and Alpha Cellulose mix paper is perfect for artists wishing to reproduce their work, with the mid-white base providing outstanding colour and monochrome renditions. Museum Heritage has a superior coating that prints excellent highlight and shadow detail with a high Dmax. The textured surface adds a depth and quality to images for that extra special look and feel, suited to professional exhibitions, galleries, museums, and artists.

Photo Rag®
Hahnemühle Photo Rag® 308gsm is one of the world’s most popular papers and the valued all-rounder for high-quality Fine Art inkjet printing. The white cotton artists’ paper, with its characteristic, wonderfully soft feel, boasts a lightly defined felt structure, lending each artwork a three-dimensional appearance and impressive pictorial depth. Combined with the matt premium inkjet coating, this paper produces outstanding prints that feature brilliant colours, deep blacks, striking contrasts and perfect reproduction of detail. This acid- and lignin-free classic meets the most exacting requirements for age resistance and is specially designed for Fine Art applications. Whether it is used for Fine Art photography or art reproductions, the ideal combination of structure, print quality and weight makes Photo Rag® one of the most versatile Fine Art inkjet papers. Photo Rag is ideal for photographic or Fine Art prints. Studio Enhanced
Hahnemühle Studio Enhanced 210gsm is a single-sided matt paper with a bright white shade and a smooth surface texture, made from 100% alpha cellulose. The matt inkjet coating guarantees brilliant colours and a sharp resolution. Although it has the cachet of being Hahnemühle branded, its archival qualities have not been certified at this price point, but is a good choice for exhibition display prints.

Gloss Photo
As beautiful as the matt papers are, sometimes your project’s bright colours and designs require a high gloss print to make it stand out. Our newest printers can apply a clear topcoat to shiny papers to minimise bronzing and gloss differential issues. We stock glossy poster/photographic papers in various weights from 190-271gsm.

Duo Matt
Ilford GALERIE Heavyweight Duo Matt is a double-sided paper with a smooth bright white finish. The 310gsm product is a true heavyweight and with 99.9% opacity it is perfect for professional quality photo albums, portfolios and display prints. Also available in a thinner 176gsm.

Matt Proofing
Matt Proofing 160gsm is the 2nd lightest paper in our stock and a very cost-effective option. It has a smooth matt surface and is designed with image proofing in mind, ideal for producing test prints and contact sheets without wasting higher cost materials. Although designed for proofing requirements, it still achieves excellent quality, producing strong colours and blacks, but best used for graphics that don’t rely on 100% ink coverage. Artworks brought in for reproduction are typically printed on this media, at no charge, to check the quality of the scan at 1:1 scale.

Matt Plus
Matt Plus 240 is a midweight alpha cellulose paper with a smooth matt surface. Create vibrant, impactful prints with the sumptuous matt surface that gives depth to images with no distracting glare or textures. Prints on this paper have incredible sharp details and rich colours, whilst the impressive tonal range makes this paper just as desirable for monochrome work. It has a clean white base tint that delivers accurate prints, making it a fantastic choice for digital artwork reproductions, photographic wall art, and marketing materials that will look fantastic for years to come. An excellent choice for open editioned prints where surface texture is unnecessary.

Matt Vinyl
Matt Vinyl 240 is a tear proof matt film/paper that provides outstanding light diffusion and is water resistant making it suitable for outdoor signage. It has an exceptionally wide colour gamut with no cockling. Ideal for exhibition display graphics, retail, point of sale and lightbox banners.

VHS, Hi8, VHSc, Mini DV and Cine film can be converted onto DVD on site, so there is no risk of losing your tapes in the post. We can convert in real time, and guarantee that we will revive your memories for you to cherish for many years to come.
Vehicle Graphics
Printed graphics and cut lettering on your car, van, truck or lorry, everything is printed and cut in-house and applied by us. A line drawing of your vehicle with designs on, often does not replicate well once applied, hence we will superimpose all design ideas onto a digital photo of your vehicle for a real-life example prior to approval and payment.
